Not to sound like a broken record here, but I'd really recommend just picking up a set of Harley mirrors and inserting them into the hinge when you pull the doors off. It seems like the cheapest, easiest, and yet best functioning way to go. You can probably pick up a used stock mirror off of CL or ebay really cheap or free if you know somebody with them laying around. Or you can find a million after market mirrors for Harleys that will work too . . . they start around 20 bucks for a decent pair. I don't like the relo brackets personally, the look, the extra effort to remove the mirrors off the doors while hoping somehting doesn't snap or strip, etc. With the Harley mirrors, you slide it in and tighten the nut . . . done.

Depends on the laws in your state. Some states require you have mirrors and if a cop wants to be a jerk you'll get a ticket.

Just out of curiosity does anyone have a pic of the Harley mirror on so I can see what they look like. I think I might pick some up and go that route. Any specific shank diam. to look for in those?

These are just like the ones I use. I ran them with no doors in the hinge and then welded a sleeve on my tube doors so I now I have them on the tubes. These have the short stem so I just turned the mirror 90* . . . you can buy the ones that have a longer stem if you want as well. These are 10 bucks on ebay.
