That's gonna vary.... depends on your tire size and how you drive.
I have a '93, 5-spd, 31" tires and I get around 20-22 mpg, mostly driving around town ... if I keep my foot out of it.
Normally you can expect (without any mods) anywhere from 16-24 mpgs, but Jeeps aren't known for their economy.

I'm getting 10-11 with 31 bfg mud terrian on my 1990 4.2 yj.
I do need to replace a few of my fuel lines and rebuild my carb.
And I keep my tires at like 17 psi

I get 8-13 depending on how I drive. 4cyl on 33's but made a mistake on my 8.8 swap and it had 3.27 gears...

1992 2.5L, manual transmission, 31" tires inflated to 45 psi, full tune up, 2.5" lift, top off, doors off, light footed, coast up to stop signs, shift at 3000 rpm, cruise at 2000-2300 = 21 MPG. I'm very satisfied with any time I get over 20
