Ok I am new to the forum, I have been reading threads about other YJ's and decided I would share mine with you. I have a 90 YJ that I picked up around September, It has a 2.5 liter engine that I hope to swap out later, 4" Rough Country suspension lift, 33-12.5-15 Cooper tires,Hard top and full doors that I want to swap out for a soft top later also. Since it has larger tires I am building a rear bumper and tire mount to get the spare off the tailgate. as this project progresses I will post pics and let you know, as of right now I just drive the he&& out of it. Total cost so far for the Wrangler $365.00 this includes the used tires I put on it last weekend due to a flat left front tire on xmas eve. Since I got the Jeep I have changed the alternator,( replaced the old one with one from a chevy diesel engine) Pulled out the carpet, and removed wiring in it that was laying on the floor board. any suggestions about upgrades are greatly appreciated, and any comments or questions are welcome. I still tell my wife this was a great deal. Are 49 cj3a cost over twice as much and still isnt done. Happy Trails
welcome, that is a smokin deal. nice yj. looks good, i got no suggestions, but lets see a thread on that tire carrier you build.
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president." http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/data...re_cowbell.gif
sell the hardtop on graigs list or ebay. you'll get enough to pay for some of the things you may want to do. also look on ebay for full sets of tires at good prices. welcome aboard from beautiful ocean shores ,washington.

IF YOU CAN'T EAT IT OR PLAY WITH IT,
JUST PEE ON IT AND WALK AWAY.
welcome from southwest VA. good looking jeep man. cant wait to see what you have planned for this yj. definitely got to post pictures on your rear bumper build. you could make good money on the top and doors.
Not looking to make big money on the top and doors, just looking to replace with something more practicul like a soft top and half doors or even soft top with soft doors.Thank you for the kind words. And on the bumper i have decided to make a new front and rear bumper to match.
