No fox mustang in these. I had an 85' at one time. Thanks guys!

I had a great wheeling trip this time. I smacked my drivers fender pretty good but it pulled back sorta. tube fenders are getting closer for sure.

Also smoked an alternator. grapped a new one and was all good!

Ill post some teaser pics when i can.

Thanks! I have not really done much too her in a while. Just drive it and wheel it.

I was working on my trailer, tow rig, and rebuilding a truck camper most of the summer.

I got to try it all out a few weeks back. Works great and no more tents!

Couple pics of my setup.

Still all good with the starting issues. My wiper arm came off the motor the other day so i stuck the jeep in the garage. Wipers are fixed now but the front fenders are missing.
I am gonna start my fab up of my "tube" fenders. I was gonna mimic the look of the stock fender but now that they are off i dig it.
I am gonna fab up some super mini tube fenders and inners. Basically it will look like it has no fender at all but there will be hood protection and grill support tied into the frame. I may even tie both sides together under the hood. You should be able to winch the jeep out with them when i am done and it will look like i narrowed the jeep.
The onto the back. I got some cutting tricks up my sleeve there too. Plus the d30 is getting some freshening up with a solid passenger shaft, some new seals and a locker too and the 8.8 welded locker is going in the back.
Picking up some new shoes tomorrow too. going +4" to what I have now.
Get some pics up when i can.

Just some teaser pics. I have a lot to do. This is basically what the front will look like with a small tube following the hood about 1/4" out and inner fenders.
Gonna paint the rims desert tan, and do some cutting in the rear but it clears surprisingly well.

Picked up my 8.8 spring perches from a local company, urbine machine. $20 for the set. Urbine sells all kinds of neat fab stuff. Mostly for race cars but...

UB Machine Inc.

Running total on my 8.8 so far.

8.8 , 4.10 gears, open diff, disc brakes = $129.00
Spring perches = $20.00

Total so far = $149.00

The axle was from a local take a part place. $109 with a $20 core charge. The explorer it was on must have had a bad motor(4.0 suck!). The rest of it looked great. She was still setting on 4 tires. They even torched it out for free(suposed to be a small charge but they didn't charge me.)

Plus i got the driveshaft yoke. I can take my DS and the yoke to a local drive line place and they quoted my $60 to make it the right length, and balance it. Of course i have to measure it when I get the rear end in.

This place is great for stuff. I got my 4.0 TB and electric fan from there for $30 for both. Gonna go back for a solid passenger shaft for the d30 too. I think they are $25.00.

I thought about making a trip out there and picking up some spare D35 shafts and a 4 liter throttle body myself. Very easy swap on a 4 banger..

Well, with the nice diff cover and the spartan locker i'd have to say $250. Thats a lot for a d35 but basically you's be buying the locker and the cover and getting the axle for free.

If i took the spartan and diff cover out probably $75. Or i could just sell you my extra shafts for $50. Thats what I paid MacGyver for em....

yeah not really interested in the locker or that fancy diff cover. Do you have a stock cover to throw back on it?

Either way, it will in the back of my KJ too..which needs a battery..So in the mean time if you sell it you sell it. Don't hold it for me.

Do you have any other stock Jeep parts you are looking to get rid of?

I have a set of 0-2" lift rough country shocks. Only have maybe $500 miles on them. They are for a yj though and not sure how they'd fit on a tj. Most of my stock parts are toast!

Mind if I ask why you even might want it?

Would you be willing to measure your shocks fully compressed? i have the 4" shocks and they are too big. I have about 1" of up travel thinking of getting shocks for a smaller lift.
