need a breake upgrade for the 87yj

I have noticed that running the bigger tires my brakes just aren't cutting it. I also pull a trailer and can easily overheat the brakes. Everything is newer on my jeep. I have heard of using a newer booster and master for a 95 up jeep. Any info on doing this? Is that an upgrade for the for rotors and calipers? I am on a budget. Thanks.

friend runs GM booster/master off half to truck, says it stops better. I put in a 44 rear wich has bigger brakes than stock 35. there are upgrades for fronts but it costs.
