need a few ideas

i bought this 92 wrangler pretty much the way it looks in the pics, i love it but i want to do something to it to say it's mine (besides the dent in my wallet) anyway i'm doing some work on the rear and front ends to it now but looking to improve or change anything about it, the inside really needs some tlc, the guy who had it before sprayed the inside down with under coating spray, i guess it works good enough but looks awful, so i think that would be on the list, the stereo system kinda sucks in it, and no speaker bar in it. so any input at all would be great, thanks in advance.

Sorry i put this in the wrong forum, if a mod could move it, that would be great, again sorry.

Well first it is a YJ. I'm guessing you click on the CJ section by mistake.

As for the undercoat he sprayed the inside with... it can be multiple products but is probably herculiner. Which is a truck bed coating. Alot of jeep owners now are using truck bed coating on the interior of the tub to protect it and for easy clean up.

For a stereo that is up to you. You can pretty much put in what ever you want.

To make the jeep yours depends on what you want to do with the jeep.

Bumpers front and rear are good and usable upgrades. Also I cant tell from the pictures but, Does it have a matching size spare tire and is it on the factory tailgate mount?

If so my first upgrade would be a tire carrier. A 33 tire can be to much weight for the tailgate mount and can bend the mounting points from the wieght.

Give us some hint on what you'd like to change about it and we can let you know the optiions.

yeah i realized i put it in the wrong place after posting it if you noticed i put a edit in it asking a mod to move to the right spot for me.

yeah it has the spare on it and on the back, it isn't aired up but is brand new. and i have noticed a bit of a bend so i don't open the back much at all. as far as the under coating spray, that is ok but he just did a bad job at it is all, i was thinking along the lines of maybe a vinyl floor, we use it for a dd, but we do a little off roadin some, nothing to ruff just get a little dirty. i thought about a different paint job but my boy likes the color as is. well the idea thing is why i'm asking for some advice on because i'm kinda lost here. i have looked through a bunch of mags and got all kinds of ideas but the wife don't like them, (because of the money thing go figure) anyway maybe something i could add that people would notice when they see it for the first time. you know something i added. just not sure what that would be.

From the sounds of your post I would spend my money on what works for you. Fix the interior and add a new stereo and sound bar or pods.

The rest of the motoring world are jealous enough. First you're driving a Wrangler and second it's got square headlights. Man it doesn't get any better!

Yes some ppl have made their own soundbars. Most use partical board and do a simple rectangular design. There is a kid on here that made one for his TJ. I'll see if I can dig up the post for it.

I do know the rear section of the family style rollbar for the YJ (the rollbar in your jeep)has a slight angle where it meets up with the B-pillar bar. Just angle the ends of the box to match the angle of the bars you have and your good to go.

You can pick up the MDF board for the box at any lowe's homedepot or lumber store. The carpet can be picked up at and stereo shop, walmart, simular places.
