Why not just go find a wrecked XJ with the 4.0 and swap it out. They are the same motors. A few of the sensors may be located in different spots depending on the year,but that is it.. I see them in the JY all the time with less than 100 k miles. I understand you dont want a JY motor but even with one from a JY for ,say 300 bones, you would still come out alot cheaper rebuilding it and using it than buying one for 1500-2200+ mech labor..
