need help

well this past couple weeks i swaped out my 2.5l auto for a 2.5l 5speed i used a doner jeep but it wont turn over.. i can jump it and it will but the ingition wire won't give power... i used the auto wiring harness... i plugged the N safty swich in and did nothing then depressed it and with the same resautls.. kinda lost here...

I'm wonderin' if maybe the wiring for the safety switch is a supervised circuit, meaning it must measure a certain amount of resistance....

well i wouldn;t think so it should just be a simple switch as it looks..

How does the safety switch tie in? Is it not an input for the cpu or is it tied into the ignition?

well it goes throw the main harness.. it doesn;t come outta the fuse block inside ... i think it comes form the fuse pack by the battery
