I bought a barricade trail force HD front bumper, everyone seemed to love it. Only problem is sometimes the holes didn't match up for them. I was hoping to get lucky and not have that problem, but from what I can tell not a single hole will line up once I get one bolt in. Not even the hole directly below it. anyone have this bumper and problem and know a quick fix?

are the holes at all close? Could you just drill the hole a bit bigger? Or drill a new mounting hole?

I admit I'm a bit confused.

My Barricade Trail Force HD bumper has 8 bolts. 6 (3 on each side) are welded to the bumper and slide into the holes in my Jeep. 2 (1 on each side) go in the opposite direction. They go from my Jeep and thread into the bumper.

Which bolts aren't lining up for you?

I used a bottle jack and a block of wood off of the front axle to help align the front to back. Same way with the side to side if its close, you can tweak the frame by putting the bottle jack between the frame rails and pumping it out a little bit. You have to go past where it needs to be in order to let it spring back to where you need it.

But like I told you in your other post. The just are made very poor, I think they warp when they weld them together and then the fitment is off.

I was going to purchase one for myself, till I installed a few for customers and seen how much "fun" they are.

I hope you checked the D-ring mounts. And make it fit correct now, because it will have to come back off for the winch to be mounted on it, since the front holes are almost directly over the "pipe" cross member in the frame. Then you have to hoist the 150# bumper/winch back up onto the frame. It would suck if the holes were only close then.

Yeah it's a lot of "fun" to put on. But I like it so It will be worth it! and the winch will come later on, gonna save up some money first. But I'm
Not looking forward to reinstalling it with the winch haha oh well though, it'll be done with and I'll be happy

Dylan,

Let me know if you can get it to work or if you'd like me to send you out a replacement bumper. In the mean time I'm having some inventory pulled from the warehouse and test fitted to make sure this is an isolated issue not a bigger manufacturing defect. Shoot me a PM and let me know how it works out!
