Here is what i got in mind for my 89yj with 4.2 and auto trany. 2" BDS suspensions lift and 1" lift shackles, sye kit and rear driveshaft from tatton, 32" tires not sure what kind yet, posi lock on front axle and lunch box lockers front and rear. I know that I dont need the sye and driveshaft for 3" of lift but for $410 and I think im gona have to rebuild the transfercase I figure I might as well put the sye on why im at it. I dont want to go any higher on the lift because im gona eventually put tube fenders front and rear from TnT Customs and be able to clear 33" or 34" tires and keep a low center of gravity. Any coments or hell no that wont work praise or critisisum welcome.

It sounds like you already know what you want.
But since you asked for advice, I would personally steer clear of the longer shackles, and just get 3" of lift from the get-go. The shackles stick down a lot and hit things like they are and you have to add 2" in length to get 1" of lift

The only reason for the shackles is the BDS suspension lift has full military wrapped springs and the kit says you have to have them or the spring eys will contact the frame in the rear.

Sounds a lot like my jeep. SO...... I like it!

The next big stuff i want would be 8.8 rear with a autolocker, auto locked front with solid chromo shafts(no CAD).

Then 35's, some custom tube fenders and some bump stops just in case the 35's get to close to the body. :)

I put a cheap locker in the rear of my heep an love it BUT, if I knew then what I know now, I would go with the 8.8 LSD , If you are going to larger tires and need to regear any way now would be the time to put an 8.8 with the gears your going to need. around there you should be able to find one low gears and LSD for about the same money as you'll spend on just a locker for the D35, and still need to spend more to change the gears. think about it. I wan't to see that rig when you get her up and pulling, maybe see if I can keep up in my heep. LOL

Here's my opinion.

OME Springs
HD shackles (MORE, OME, ?) - These will add some lift
1" body lift
Front axle from a 4 cyl yj (get 4.10 gears)
8.8 rear axle from a explorer (get 4.10 gears w/ LSD)
Install Aussie front locker

Do a SYE somewhere in there.
