are the coverking Neoprene seat covers really worth paying 250 for them? are they really that much nicer of material?

I can't speak of neoprene as a nice material for seat covers, but I wouldn't know. As a whitewater kayaker I can tell you it's damn nice, and pretty comfortable in a skin tight suit...so seat covers can't be bad. Plus they look sweet as hell. As for worth it? I suppose that's down to how important the amazing look is. They'll probably be pretty comfortable, it's a nice material. I'm sure others here actually have experience with it in seat cover form though.

To be honest, beyond the fact that one says "reclining", I can't tell.

Maybe a little less thick, shoddier stitching or something like that. I'm not sure.

I run a neoprene cover on the backseat for my labrador. Best $$ I ever did. Easy to keep clean...Black dog hair isn't an issue....Wet and smelly labrador is just fine in the backseat...

I take it he doesn't complain about swamp azz?

OP, aren't you in a warm climate? I would not recommend neoprene if you are. Search the forums for "neoprene".... you'll see

They're alright

I have some on all seats. They are comfortable and dress up the jeep pretty nice. They are not water proof and mine when wet, dry in a short time. If they are in the sun, they dry quicker of course. I paid like $150 for mine on EBAY. They have held up rather nice. Really no complaints. I guess the bottom line is, do you want to spend that kind of dough on seat covers?
