I was looking up cheap tires last night and I came over a eBay add for ct404 free passers. It's a nice looking tire an cheap too but I went and looked them up and found nothing. The pics look real and I also found a craigslist add selling them in another state. The seller in eBay has good reviews but you tell me does this look like a scam? http://m.ebay.com/itm/231410202829?txnId=0

Also another tire I've seen a few times but not on anyone's rig is a "mudstar" anyone seen or heard anything bad about these? Cause they are cheap as well for a 305/70r16 http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151485318647?lpid=82&chn=ps

Thanks guys

Both are a tire from China. I have never seen the CT 404 MT before. But it looks like a decent tread design. Although it is a directional tread.

As far as the Nankang MudStar. I currently have a set of them on my YJ now. I have no problems what so ever with these tires. Mine are a 33/12.50/15 and they have approximately 30,000 miles on them with still about a 1/2" of tread left on them. The dig well and grip well on the rocks too. The only downfall they have is wintertime driving. They are a stiffer rubber compound so they don't do all that well in snow or on icy roads.

Check out Kenda Klevers. They are a little newer to the large tire scene (from what I understand) but I run their 265-75-R16 M/T on my F350 and my friend has their 33x15 on his '89 YJ. When I wear out my Toyos on my '91 YJ, I will get a set of 33" Kenda Klevers. They are made by a world-renowned manufacturer of wheels for ATV's so they do have a reputation to uphold for providing good off-road wheels. IMHO.
