I have a 94 jeep wrangler just had to run a bypass wire to the ignition after buying a new battery starter ignition relay and computer luckily they let me return the computer.... Now I am wondering y the dash lights only sometimes come on? Oh and what's the best lift to go with body or suspension and what size lift if I wanna put 33s on it? No offroAding really I just like the look. Thanks for any advice!

Around 4" lift, with the 33s. Suspension is always better, and more expensive.

To start....look under the dash on the steering column. You will see a ignition starter switch that may be your problem.

Have you tried turning the rheostat dash dimmer switch (next to the headlight switch) up and down. Most older YJ's have that problem as the switch starts to go and that will cause the dash lights to go completely out.

I installed a 4" lift kit from Race Car Dynamics. Here's a link to Quadratec's website where i bought it.

RCD Suspension 4" Lift Kit with Bilstein Shocks for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

It's a great lift and with the Bilstein 5100 shocks the ride is GREAT. Quadratec's catalog has it for $699. I called in the order and got the better price.

I'm running 33x10.5 BFG ATs and there was no problem clearing them. I went with the 10.5s because I wanted to use my stock gambler wheels. I did have to adjust the steering stock to keep the tires from hitting the springs.

Found a place in new port richey that'll do 4 inch suspension lift for 699. I am wondering should I swap out the motor first I feel like that stock 4 cylinder might not cut it if I go with 33s
