New Muffler

I have an 89 2.5l YJ and the stock muffler had the piping break inside the muffler so i am deciding to upgrade. I know that i wont be able to get much out of my 4 banger, but i want something that makes it sound a little bit meaner. I have one in mind that i am leaning towards. But i just want to see what you guys think and what has worked for you guys in the past. Flowmaster 50 Delta/Muffler - Performance | Muffler - Performance | 1989 Jeep Wrangler 4WD 4 Cylinders E 2.5L TBI | AutoZone.com This is the muffler i have in mind. Its not supposed to be obnoxiously loud which is alright with me. Just dont want it to sound like a ricer

Thumbs up

I have the stock on my 87' and yes I'm gonna replace it in a bit...it has a nice rust hole on it but it can still go for some miles it's not rumbling yet. I heard the Flowmasters are nice, to be exact the 40...let us know how it goes and sounds of course if u go with the 50.

For a "tougher" sound, just go for a simple FlowMaster glass pack in the line. As long as you have the Catalytic Converter along the path, and you have an exhaust pipe sticking out the rear of your Jeep, It'll be "Street Legal."

You'll also gain about 5 hour power.
