New Purchase: Jeep YJ

Well bought me a jeep YJ the other day for 500$, runs and drives great, have done got all new seats(not in) and the inside gutted and truck bed lined(drying for the night. Yall think I should do any improvements, also is the fuel gauge supposed to stay near F when the ignition is off?

Great price..does it run? Good thing is, at a great price like that, you can pretty much do whatever you want to it. First things first.. change the oil, and all your fluids, check your brakes etc.. never know when that stuff was last done..

Welcome aboard.. don't forget to wave at other Jeeps.

Hey thats pretty nice man, good idea on putting bed liner on the hood, sun fades the paint quick anyway, also like the rims ... i bought a set of polished aluminum rims with 31 mud dawgs off a buddy to go on this one, hoping to have them mounted and on by next weekend.

Hi, when I first bought the jeep the fuel gauge was showing 1/2 full. And it was showing 1/2 full all the time till it went out of gas. And up until then I was thinking, what a great MPG I pulled off.

Welcome to the forum!
