New stereo for 93 wrangler

I recently bought a 93 wrangler that already had an aftermarket stereo installed in it but it hasn't been wired up yet. I couldn't find the harness to the original radio so I was wondering if anyone knows where that can be found so I can hook it to the aftermarket radio?

First thing first. You just using the dash speakers or do you have any in the back or on a soundbar? The dash speaker wiring is easy. Just find the wires leading up to the speaker and match those colors in the harness where the deck goes (should be the lt grey and blue pairs). If you are hooking up rear speakers, those are going to be the green and purple wires. I'm not 100% sure which ones are left and right, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Hope this helped.

I'm just using the dash speakers. Do I just need to find the wires that run out of the speakers and hook those to a harness? This is my first time doing this so I am definately a rookie.

just buy speaker wire and wire front speakers direct. there will be two wires for each speaker a (+) and a (-). plus do not forget to plug in the antennae, the ground, 12v constant and 12v switched power Jeep/Eagle/Dodge receiver wire harness For select models, 1988-up at Crutchfield.com

or Car Selector
