Red face newb jeep question

Got a 95' recently and have started to notice since it has gotten cold outside, that when I'm on the gas I hear a whistling sound thats noticebly loud. As the engine warms the sound goes away until I hit 40mph. I've looked at the belt, and haven't seen any cracks or the sort. should I just bite the bullet and take it to shop, or DIY.
thanks Hank

I would have to hear it to be sure but it could be the bearings in your belt tensioner. well actaully its not a tensioner but just a pulley that sits there with really no use and goes round and round. when mine went it wasnt like a regular bearing noise so check that.
