Welcome to the Forum! I think you'll have a lot more fun with a Jeep than an S10.

Welcome to the forum. Park the S-10 near a high school with a for sale sign, it will be gone in no time.

Welcome.
I had an S-10 and an S-15, both with the incredibly easy to work on 258 6, and both 4WD. These were both great, dependable trucks. Good off-road. An 89 and a 92.
Actually I can't say a bad thing about them.

But it is so very true that you can outgrow an S10. After my S10 and S15...I got my first Jeep--10 years ago. After that I never looked back. Have fun!

Welcome to the forum! But there is a problem. We're kinda like the Masons, if you sell the Jeep you can't leave the forum.

Cons: short wheel base sucks for highway driving.
Pros: short wheel base rules for mudding and forest service roads and two dogs and a cold lemonade or something...

Split the difference...
