newbie - replacement front seats

Hello all new to the board, first post -- Bought a 1994 Jeep Wrangler and I love it. Would like advice on replacing the front seats.
- can't go with cloth
- need to be able to get kids in the back (passenger seat needs to work like stock seat)
- will most likely get wet (plan on leaving hard top off all summer)
- don't want the seats to fade
- don't need or want racing seats
- recently purchased new console (Vertically Driven Products 41511C - VDP Deluxe Ultimate Console for 76-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ - Quadratec) waiting on seat purchase to install
- don't want to spend over $500 but want seats to last
- need to be easy to install
- need to recline

Any recommendations? Anyone got pictures of their recommendations installed?

Thanks

dont go with neoprene, it will absorb the water kinda like a sponge. bestop is supposed to have some real nice vinyl covers that arent to expensive. if you want something to function like the stock seat, then just keep the stock seat and cover it. its alot cheaper and alot easier

neoprean works buy insulation that water inside the suit, it is in no way water proof. the way it absorbs water is basically the same as a sponge. and if its what ur seat cover is made of, it will absorb the water and the water will go into ur seat, and then u have a moldy smelly seat under the cover

exactly. neoprene covers are great if ur in a beachy area that doesnt get much rain, or ur jeep is covered when it rains, cause the do provide protection for the seat, and are alot more comfterable then a cloth seat, and dont heat up like vinyl does. but they are not water proof.

there is a thread on here about some dude finding seats from a 98 chevy cavalier that will be a direct bolt in. so, i'd look for a set of those (97-99 cavalier or sunfire) will direct bolt in and get ones in leather. much more comfortable than the standard yj seats....
