newby question

I have just bought a 93 yj with a 2.5 liter. I have also bought a 3.5 in black diamond lift which is in the mail. I am considering putting 33 in tires on the jeep and i'm not sure about what type of lockers would be the best. I am planning on some off road but also plan to use it as a daily driver. If anyone knows what type of lockers I should buy I would be glad to hear it. along with any other suggestions. thanx

Can't say much about the lockers, but you'd better invest in a set of gears while you're going in.

I have come to conclusion that a D35 is a hit or miss situation..... my buddy has blown 6 Ring and pinions on his tj in the past year, He hasnt beaten it tooo bad.... now me on the other hand.... I beat the living piss out of my rear, I have 33 12.50's mt's(soon to be 35's on friday), I dump the clutch on dry land, chirp the tires going into second gear... basicly i've been try to blow that f***er apart, I've blown three tom woods CV driveshaft in the past year, and put a teraflex u-bolt style yoke on my rear..., but other that its still running strong!

I have heard good things about the Aussie locker too, but I have no personal experience. This is a drop in locker that uses your stock carrier. A full locker like a detroit will be a much stronger unit, but will also cost a bit more. For a D35, I wouldn't spend any more money than you have to.
