Newby question on lift

My 95 wrangler had a 3.5 inch black diamond lift put in by previous owner. It appears like the rear springs were put on front and front springs on back causing a forward tilt and stress/vibration on rear drive shaft. Could this be true? I am wondering because I read that a 3.5 lift shouldn't cause the shaft vibration that I am getting. I don't want to spend the money on a yse if I don't need to. Anyone run into this before? Will swapping the springs fix this?

Well, either I stumped the panel or no one can figure out what my question is. either way, the LOCAL jeep guys helped me figure it out. There is nothing like genuine human interaction and my advice to anyone left reading this is to go find a real person to interact with.

The information you gave to us was really enough to give a good response. The spring shackles are identical for both front and rear, at least on my 92 YJ. I am not sure why you would have a forward tilt. What did the local jeepers figure out was the problem?

Take care,
Check "YJ V6 Conversion Swap" if you want to see my "frame up" restoration that anyone can do.

Check "WWII Willy's restoration and usage..." if you want to see THE ORIGINAL JEEP IN ACTION.

The springs are different for this kit. The rear springs have a built in wedge, the front don't. Also noted we could do a 2 degree axle rotation to help straighten out the shaft line. Thank you for the info on the 4.3. I loved that motor in my pre-jeep days .

The springs were the issue. Only took 2 hrs for the spring swap. 100 bucks and a 12 pack got me back on the road
