next mod?

i have an 88 yj have a body lift and 2.5 suspension lift just put a new (new to me) transmission in it. new webber carb 33inch tires soft toop and hard halfdoors and full doors. any ideas on a nice budget project i can do to my jeep?

hah. well it all depends. put it this way im a broke college kid and wanna get my jeep better offroad preferably using junk yard parts or cheaper mods. like a couple hundred

For that kind of money, if you are gonna wheel it, buy some needed recovery gear (strap, shovel, come along etc) and save up some cash.

Take it out and wheel it and save up for what you want it to do long term.

custom rattlecan paint job. urban camo. how about bedline the tub? or for very budget minded just wire brush all rust and scale from frame and paint black for a clean minty fresh look.

Also go through and do a tune up or change diff./transfer case fluids.
synthetic fluid in those areas help.
