No Hope for Rookies?

Just a quick note to say that this site definately has ESP. Every time I have questions, You guys have just what I am looking for in the way of answers. That is good for cats like me with limited mechanical abilities. Am I stupid in thinking that with a weekend and a Chiltons book, I can have most of the answers? The work I want to do seems easy enough,But not a whole lot of resources in my neck of the woods, Though. I. E. Clubs and other people that are familiar. I would like to think that I am not completely without skills as Me and A freind of mine installed my 3.5 inch Black Diamond lift.(he's a mechanic) Am I crazy to think there is hope? Advice and Words of encouragement are welcomed. Thanks Gang

Ah - its easy, and with your friend, who may or may not know what he's doing, should be able to do it within a day

Good luck!

Soak all you bolts with Deep Creep or WD40 the night before.

All of the things we do with our jeeps are pretty self explanatory. A Chilton's, Haynes, or Factory Service Manual are great helps. Just take it slow and ask the questions you need.
