Ok i have the 4 banger 5 speed, and recently i have this vibration and wicked noise coming from under neith my jeep but only during certain times. If im in neutral and not moving i can rev the engine some and feel a vibration under my feet, and i hear a wierd noise kinda like a piece of metal rubbing/bouncing around. But in first gear at the start of take off it does it for a slight bit then goes away, in third gear while accelerating or decelerating it does it quite a bit. I thought it was exhaust rubbing but i checked it and its tight n solid. I did a service on the trans a few weeks ago what else could it be? Any suggestions??
It almost sounds like its coming from the front of the trans where the clutch is, but the clutch works perfectly im out of ideas/solutions but its annoying and sometimes loud!
Maybe a blown cat? When they start to break apart inside it sometimes sounds like marbles rattling. But not if you have full power. Posting a YouTube video of the sound would make it easier for others to figure out.
Ok i will do, but i dont think its the cat, my jeeps cat got ripped off the day after i got my jeep lol but i will make a video tomorrow thanks for the input.
