Finally got that damn dashboard out. We had to take all the bolts off the hard top, and a couple off the roll bar and it took me and my mom to get a screw that was stripped and wouldn't come out of the roll bar. Ive already painted it.

I started painting these metallic at like 7:00pm & Ive been working on the jeep since before 11am. My shoulders are killing me because I got hit by a fully loaded log truck a month ago and any extra physical work causes me serious pain. Ive been having allot of shoulder, back, neck pain headaches the list goes on. And Ive been going to physical therapy. I really want to keep putting everything back together... ugh

Wow does that highlight that girly pink steering wheel, but since you are a girl it's ok. Nicely done.

I assume they worked before? You could simply have a loose connection in the wire to the bulb or a bad bulb. Or something happened on the other end of the wire by the switch.

Yeah they worked before. So should I try moving some wires around first?

And yeah I didn't mean for the cover to be so eye catching I thought the camo would tone it down...

Yes! And I'm soo excited to start seeing how yours turned out! I have the same ugly tan color for my interior and I feel like black would look so much better! Does yours have carpet on the floor or is it like plastic flooring?

Its not plastic it's like rubber with the texture of bed armor. I can show you a picture of you want? The previous owners took out the carpet in the front seats and it looks like they bought the material and then cut it to fit It's really nice though. And just a warning I thought it would be easy to paint my dash but it took me over a week to do it all it's not as easy as you would think to take apart. If you have any questions just ask me.

That would be awesome if you could post a picture! I right now have carpet but since I'm painting everything black i can't have tan carpet! So I'm going to pull that out and I was thinking f putting truck bed liner down. And yeah i know how hard it is! I had to take a majority of it off to connect my sound bar to my radio, one of the biggest pains ever and I still didn't take it all off so it will take even longer then the last time! And I will for sure keep you in mind if I have any questions, thanks!

I have cj doors too. not crazy about them but for $125 they work.

You did a great job on that interior! I doubt I could take mine apart like that after 20 years in Ohio winters!

Did you get the dash lights working? are they all out of just some of them? Just wondering if maybe you turned them off with the dimmer while working on it.

I haven't tried yet, wheres the dimmer? I never had lights on my fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, voltmeter gauge, and temperature gauge. I only had lights on the speedometer and tachometer I think.

i would think the dimmer affects all the dash lights the same. look to see if a plug going to the cluster got unplugged in the process
