Operation paint babypoop interior

I got my 95 4.0 liter yj in December 2013 I love it but the color of the dash, seats, console, doors, and carpet in the back drive me mad. I absolutely hate the color honestly I think the color looks like shit.. anyone else agree?? Anyway Ive been researching allot about paint mods and what paint I can use and what all I can paint and Ive started my project! I'm super excited and I'll post so far what Ive done.

So far got all my seats out I have one door off and in the process of removing the passenger door. I also have allot of the dash covers off and I'm working on getting the dash off but I'm gonna have to buy a bolt first because the only way I will be able to get it off is if I break one that is refusing to be removed. So I'm gonna head over to a local shop and get that bolt today.

Has anyone tried this loctite stuff? I wanted to get liquid tape because I know that works good but the store didn't have any so I got this for this seats. Let me know if you have used it and if it works well thanks.

I've never personally used loctite, and never seen it for fabric. Never heard anything bad about loctite before though. Let us know how the fabric version works for you. Are you using the same stuff on your seats? I would think that painting them would make them stiff and ruin them.. Looks good.

I thought so to until I watched a couple videos and then this guys videos is what really sold me. Ive been emailing him he's really cool he's done allot of seats but only has a few videos on them here's is one of them. And so far on all the vinyl I have done it hasn't changed the textured whatsoever I did my center console and it's actually softer than before in my opinion.

Looks good so far. I have some gray front seats that need to be black. I will have to see how yours turn out.

One door down one to go. So I ended up doing a metallic on the inner doors. I was skeptical because I was worried it would look all glittery and too girly, but I'm really liking how it's turning out. I'll get some day time pics tomorrow.

It was so hot and nice out today the seats finally dried! =) so I got to work on the back seat because it dried first, I forgot to get a pic of the before but I'll show you the front because it was the same. I'm gonna do some more coats on it and move it after it's dry to get missed spots

Nice job! They don't feel stiff or anything? I may need to do this as well.

as long as you brush it with like a nylon brush in between coats at first it will seem a little stiffer but after you start using them they will go back to normal.
