My wife told me it looks like crap. Daughter said the same thing. After looking at it awhile, I may need to change the color. It does have a primer look to it. Looks unfinished.

I agree it looks like primer and it is your rig but just a suggestion ...maybe an OD green? I think it would b just enough to stand out but nothin too major. My roommate has a flat black jeep n he just put some OD green on it n it looks bad ass. I can post some pics if you would like

I think the issue is I don't see any other grey to coordinate it with. Being the same color as primer doesn't help either. Doing a different color in just one spot is hard because it often makes it look like you had something break and haven't gotten around to color-matching the replacements.

Not saying it can't be done successfully, it just isn't easy.

I decided to go back to black. Flat black looks better that the gloss that was originally there. I tried a hunter green also but that looked pretty bad too. At least there is a few coats of protection on them now.lol

I painted mine black on my red Jeep. Took me a while to get used to it. Youll find a color I say you try Yellow or Red

I'm the roomate in question, and steal away dude, whatever. I used krylon spray cans and painters tape cost like 30 bucks makes a huge difference, ill put up a lot of pictures when I can if you want. The back is cool to with flush tail lights, but it bled through the painters tape a little so touch ups will be forthcoming.

I get the jeep back today but it'll be about a week til I get started on it. And my next project is flush mounting the stock tail lights. I think coyote 97 tj on here did it and it looks sick.

That's because black on red is the best combination out there.
