Performing a much needed tune up...

Hello all,

Since everyone on here has been so helpful I figured I would ask another question.

I plan on giving my wrangler a tune up its a 6cyl manual 92 yj. (i picked it up a couple of weeks ago if you havent seen my other threads).

I was hoping on getting some advice on what brands and types of parts along with fluid weights and so on to use for this tune up. I really dont have much experience mechanically but am handy and figured I would like to do as much work as possible by myself on the yj.

Any help and advice would be great.

Also I realized that the speedo is completely detached from any wiring does anyone know how to reattach it? From what I have read on the forum it seems that some detach it when performing lifts, which this has, 4inch.

as always thanks in advance.

No different than tuning up anything else, change the plugs, wires cap all that good stuff.

My major question is what should I use in the tranny...its my first 5 speed.

Regarding the speedo, there is nothing attached to it behind the dash.
