Pressure Wash Engine Bay / Underneath 95YJ

OK, so I want to pressure wash the engine bay & underneath of a 95YJ. Any tips so as to not kill it electrically / mechanically? Should this be done with the engine running? I have heard that this is a better option.
Also, want to wash the chassis / underneath, anything to be careful of here?

Just get some engine degreaser and spray the whole minus the comp and alt. And any other open or cracked wires. When washing off the degreaser, try not get a lot of water on the electrical stuff a little is ok but just don't sit there and spray it. Once done spraying start it up and let it run for about 15 mins. And you should be fine. The underside there is pretty much nothing to worry about just try not spray up into your comp from below.

I've hosed down the whole engine bay, including the distributor and alternator, several times without issues. Don't do this lol. Cover the dristributor and alternator or try to avoid them the best you can. I'm pushing my luck, but when things break, it's a chance to upgrade!
