Has anyone ever heard of these? Do they work? Anyone using one? It is just a little box that you hook up to your battery and whenever it drops below like 11 volts or so it disconnects so that you dont have a dead battery whenever you get back in it. So what do you all think put it in or not?

Never heard of it, but it sounds clever. I'd be interested in seeing what makes it tick.

I've read of a few guys using them - say they work like they're supposed to.

Sounds like a good fix for those of us with the "left my #$^% lights on again" syndrome.... As long as it's not a hard install anyway.

I would wonder what it disconnects? If I am using my winch to pull me up a water fall and the amperage draw pulls the volts below 11 would it shut off my winch???? If so no thanks.

That is a very interesting point Hackle, if I end up putting it on I will have to try that out and let you know.
