How cheap? Or I should say how much you willing to spend cause that's what everyone's gonna ask.

The stock interior lights (under the dash)aren't bright at all, especially with the plastic covers on. I replaced these with Sylvannia 1156 bulbs, the full size ones for the brake or parking lights. There is a HUGE difference now, and it only cost $5.

My tj is red so I got red neon tubes from autozone and cut the wires on the tube and the lights under the dash and wired them up. Looks pretty cool going down the road at night with the doors off and the floor is glowing red lol. Not sure if it's legal tho

I just picked them up at Pep Boys, they are standard replacement bulbs for many vehicles. Take your old bulbs in with you, the metal base will be the same for the two lights, but the glass bulb will be twice as big on the 1156's.

Im not sure how cheap you want to go. But The most pleasing change ive made on the 2 YJ's ive owned was to change the steering wheel. Grant wheels are cheap on ebay any really enhance the look and feel of your YJ. Not to mention, other than CJ owners you are in a class of your own. No airbag to detour you.

Ah. Well here is the cheapest change i have made.. The stock horn sux. I replaced it with a horn set from a 90's Buick roadmaster. Can get them for nealrly nothing at a boneyard. I paid 6 bucks. Daisy chain them together and swap the plug with the Gm plug that came from the same car. paid .30 cents for the plug. Way deeper sound and much louder. I like it better than any air horn.
