question bout lifting it up higher

ok my jeep has the full rough country 4'' lift kit. believe it or not the kit fits 35'' tires no problem but..... not a lot of room for flex... so im going up 2 more inches with a shackle lift. i already have my shocks provided with the 4''. does anyone suggest that i get the shocks for the 6'' lift or for my financial problem i could stick with the shocks for the 4'' for now?

i believe those will be good till six inches of lift (suspension), so i think they will work. especially because those two inch shackles sre only going to net you 1 inch of added lift. not worth the $$ imo. plus shackles that tall are prone to bend laterally. many will disagree, but i'd rather go w/ body lift (2") actaully thats what i did...4" lift springs and 2" body lift.

Something to think about, suspension droop is what allows all four tires to remain planted.

Up travel only helps until bump stops are contacted.
