Rear diff tag

I'm trying to figure out my gear ratio and splines and this is my rear diff tag. What does this mean? If you zoom in you can read it better.

The axle ratio is stamped next to the left bolt hole on the tag. You have the stock gear ratio which tells me you have the stock Dana 35 rearend. They only had 27 spline axles. They can be upgraded to 30 spline axles using a bigger differential carrier, but they never came from the factory with them.

If you're looking for lower gears a cheap swap is to find axles from a 4 cylinder 5 speed Jeep. They had 4.11 gears stock. A better option for the rear is a 8.8 Ford Explorer axle which also gives you a cheap disc brake upgrade.
