Recovery points

So i bought two Recovery points and i'm trying to install them but i cant figure out where to bolt them. A picture of where to install would be helpful.

Why dont you weld them to your bumper inside and out

Those are meant to use the bolts that hold your bumper to the frame. You pull those bolts out and install longer ones thru the recovery point, thru the bumper, and into the frame rails.

don't weld them on, ray is right. a lot of times on yj's you have to drill a hole for each, one hole on the hook will line up and the other one needs to be drilled.

I guess I should state that those are for the front bumper, and the tops side of it. There are 2 torx bolts per side of the stock TJ bumper. Just noticed this was the YJ forum, should be the same tho.

yea i just found where they are i had to remove some big peice of thick plastic first but the holes are there i just have to put the plastic back on and drill a hole threw the plastic thanks guys
