Removed the front and rear track bars today. Took 40 minutes. Very happy with the change in the ride. Feels like it "freed up" the suspension. Much smoother and less jerky. Gonna put sway bar disconnects on next. Do you guys have any suggestions for a particular brand?

Are these daily drivers? Mine is and light wheeling on the beach and fishing roads. I do have to drive highway some to get to the beach. Does removing the track bars affect stability at highway speeds on not always the smoothest roads?
I don't need articulation for my driving but any comfort improvement might be nice.

The track bars were an over-reaction to the perceived instability of the CJs. With a leaf spring suspension, they are not required to position the axle. Removing them does make the YJ ride much better and does not affect the stability or handling. Mine will run 70 solid as a rock.
