These Goodyear duratracs are amazing compared to the goodyear mtrs that I had on there. They are for sure lighter and ride much smoother. They measure out to only 32" on a 15x8 @35psi.
I agree that the white is just a little too much CJ.
But, black is not the answer. I know its all the rage, but to me, black wheels might as well be just the plainest wheel because you cant see how fancy it is except in the catalog. They look like plain black voids in the wheel wells at more tham arms length.
I would go with the stock silver(argent) six spoke wheels. They retain the YJ vibe, but you can see the wheels against the blackness of the rest of the jeep.
If you wanted to be a little different, how bout painting them gold like the golden eagle trim. I know that was a CJ, but they made a TJ version too. Or find or paint some gold ravine wheels. Like the TJ.

Black...not that you are trying to match anything but white wheels look like that would be the only white parts on the jeep? I like the flat black but also agree its easier to clean the gloss. I've had my jeep for 5 years now and just washed it last month, only because I wanted to wax and remove some oxidation. 👍
