road trip

i am taking my jeep on a little road trip to tn. from fl. next week and was wondering besides the oil change is there anything i should do to prepare my 4.0??

Check and top off ALL your fluid levels (washer fluid and battery too), tire pressures (30-35psi), pack an emergency kit, check to make sure all your lights work. That should be most of it.

I always bring tools with me as well....everywhere i go in my jeep, it has come in handy more than once..

all good points, also keep jumper cables, and recovery straps. i've pulled guys out of ditches on the highway that were driving through a snow storm in wisconsin coming from florida. obviously they were not ready for the snow. don't forget some work gloves, they come in handy, and a flashlight.

Check all your universal joints. And carry duct tape, bungees and wire ties of coarse.
