Rolled jeep

Rolled my jeep yd it runs the same as b4 is there anything I should be worried about

As long as you have all DoT required parts and aren't shedding pieces, it shouldn't matter what the rest looks like.

I mean the motor and it's going in to be fully painted and made rust free all ball joint u joint are being upgraded got a 1 ton steering kit and swapping to a Durango steering box and already have a 1 ton steering shaft and bought a parts yj for the little things windshield , tailgate roll bar foam and also bought 2 new door for 150 with glass nd ordered a whole new interior mine was soaked with tranny fluid and a new teraflex soft top so ya 5000 spent on it today fml just making sure my motor will be fine it was turned off b4 it rolled

I would check engine mounts, other body mounts etc.. make sure nothing is out of wack.

Tranny mount snapped in two and I need a bump stop as for the body gonna get a daystar 1 inch lift to replace. motor mounts I'll check and replace if nesseary

That sucks, dam tierods!!! Wouldn't it have been cheeper 2 buy a new jeep? Don't get me wrong if mine was rolled, burned and crushed by an asteroid totally unrecognizable as anything, darn right id be working on it asap. Got any pics of the carnage?

so you've already cranked the jeep?...it's usually a good idea to turn the motor over by hand a few times to make sure any oil that got on top of the pistons is forced out before running.....but if it runs like before you should be ok....

Ya I started it it only rolled on it's side and it was off before the roll and i let it sit for 24hrs before I did only a little puff of smoke and she runs good

It would be and yes I could buy a new one I didnt pick this jeep because of money I like the character of the yj era and Theres a few done up ones around hear but I also don't want someone else's build so time to overhaul here's some pics

lol! I think It would take me quite a few rolls to remeber to loosen my grip on the steering wheel and flip the key off before it stalled itself out

I've rolled two of my Jeeps. It's not fun. Thankfully I was offroad and slow moving both times.

It's geting fixed saving the engine rebuild for now tho just getting all the little things done every factory safety part Is garbage not having this happen again

first of all im glad your o.k.,,

and yes great time for all those upgrades,,,

i rolled my darango that i bought 1 year aftr buying it new and it happend so fast that the only thing i remember is dang im upside down then it started barrel rolling several times(not sure how many) then woke up upside down in a swamp , mine was still running,, it was 30 deg.f in december , cold wet walk home..

nice thinking about shutting her off before the flip
