i know with out actually seeing an item, it is hard to put a value on something, but i figured i could get a rough ball park from you jeep enthusiates as this is our 1st jeep. what i have is a spice colored hardtop off a 95 yj with rear defrost and rear wiper. the rear glass has been replaced with a thick piece of plywood and sealed up nicely(several 3 day down pours since we got it and the jeep was dry inside) it apears everything is there for the rear hatch, other than the glass. and it has your usual scratches from a 15 year old top. the shocks for the hatch are there also and work perfectly.
the doors are full doors, forest green in color with spice panels, good glass, and the factory big mirrors(look like white metal or aluminum). panels are decent(drivers door needs a pull handle for inside, there is 1 there but the wrong color) and the doors are decent with next to nothing for rust.(minor light scratches, keep in mind ,15 years old and a jeep). they both came from hawaii 7 years ago with the jeep and the jeep was stored in winters here in wisconsin.
any idea on a rough ball park figure on these? ive seen some pretty rough doors on ebay for 200.00 a piece, and these are much nicer than that.
i have these items listed in the sales part of the forum, and was just trying to fgure out what to ask, as we would like to take the money from that and get a softtop and half doors as we only will run it in the summer also. just dont want to stick anyone with a bad price. we will even trade for a softtop and doors which are much less in value(atleast new) to make us happy and the trader. thankyou jeepsters!
