Question RUGGED RIDGE SUN TOP questions

Few things I'd like to know about this one; it's the model I can get fastest here where I live and I'm not sure about few things (because the seller says it is waterproof and then again I keep reading things such as "keeps sun blocked while passing just enough amount of light")

SO:

1) What's it made of - is it waterproof so it can withstand summer showers?
2) does it need extra railing beside front and center roll bar? (and windshield channeling of course)
3) Is it recommendable and what's the quality like?

Thanks, J

it is made of a vinyl coated fabric which will be able to withstand a shower. they make them out of the same material that their soft tops are made of. if you are looking at the mesh one though, it won't protect against rain.

you will need to get the windshield channel, which is an extra $30.00

i can't give you an opinion on the Rugged Ridge because i don't have one, but i did have a Bestop and it worked great. i would actually recommend the Bestop over the Rugged Ridge.

I would too.. But I have to order Bestop and it would never arrive in time (it arrives in 40-60 days) and by that time, I'll already have hardtop back on anyway.. :-/
