There have been lots of posts on seats you may try doing a search to find what might fit. I have an 88 YJ and I put Cavalier seats from a junk yard in it. They were not a direct bolt up but I used 1/4" x 2" flat bar and self tapping bolts and it was pretty simple. They sit a little higher than stock but are real comfortable. They don't recline much because they hit the roll bar. I paid $65 for the set.I'd like to post a picture but don't know how.
Also I took all the material off my old seats and welded all the broken places. Just keep some water available and douse the foam as soon as you can. Get Hog Ring pliers and rings from a hardware store to refasten your material. I thought that was pretty easy also and now I have an extra set of seats.

I went with PRPs. You won't find them in a junk yard tho.

If you can swing them I highly recommend them.

These are PRP Daily Drives. Most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. The sides are lower, but still provide lateral support. I'm 6'2" and have been up to 280 in the past, and still fit well in the seats.

I'd have to pour myself into those. Getting out wouldn't be an option at that point.

Now these are more my style. Where did you get them? What did they run you?

The Daily Drivers run $245 each. I ran some Premiere HighBacks like the ones in Mr Cliffords rig and they were not for me. I had them in my Rhino and getting in and out at 6'2 255lbs sucks. Especially running some 3" 4-points. My main complaints were with the hip and shoulder areas being too narrow. They fit decent until you want to move The daily drivers look to be a good match for guys over the 6' 200lb mark. I will say that I have alot of buddies who run the Premieres and love them, most are my size as well. So, the best bet is to go to a local PRP vendor and sit in each. You can get all the info at www.prpseats.com

I saw some pretty nice racing buckets at Pep Boys once for about $100 each. Not as nice as the PRP's, but might work if your on a budget.

I just changed my YJ seats with TJ seats. I'll get you some picts this afternoon. The seats sit a little higher, but very comfortable. I just fabricated mounting "brackets" to make them fit, as the TJ has a narrow seat slider compared to the YJ, but they work. I'll get those photos over to you.

Just sent over some picts to you email. Added them here too. Like I said, I just fabricated my own mounting "brackets". I'm really happy with them, they are comfortable and won't break as easy as the YJ seats.
