Question Security System?

Hey guys. I've had my '94 Wrangler for a while. I bought it at a used car dealership, so I don't really know about its history. When I bought it, there was a security system on it that I really want to take off now. The system is a little box above the pedals, labeled "Trilock Security Systems", and it makes it so that you have to turn the key to the "on" position, then wait a few seconds till you hear a beep to start the car. This is very annoying and dangerous if the car stalls, since you have to wait at least 7-8 seconds just to be able to start again. If anyone knows anything about removing this security system or can link me to a page that can tell me how to, that would be EXTREMELY helpful and appreciated. I don't want to have to take it to a shop. Thanks!!

Try to follow the wire and see if you can find a connection. Also check the fuse box and see if you can find a fuse for it and see if u pull it out ur jeep still runs and starts

1993-94 Jeep Wrangler Alarm, Remote Starter, Keyless Entry Wiring Information

Here is a link to the wires that the alarm is hooked up to. You can just cut out all the wires that are connected to your Jeep and tape them off EXCEPT the Yellow wire in the ignition harness, that is your starter wire and it will be cut in half. You will need to reconnect that wire so your Jeep will start. Any other questions feel free to ask. Its really not that big of a job since there arent really that many wires to unhook. Its kinda overwhelming if you dont know much about alarms but not to worry, cut each wire 1 by 1 as close to the source wire in your Jeep and tape them off as you go.
