Selling the jeep :(

Hey everyone,

Selling the jeep. Need a car for college because I have to commute. I'll tell ya, it's not easy to let go of your first car when it's a lifted jeep that you've put a lot of work into. Just wanted to say how excellent this forum is and how great the experience has been being part of a community. I'll be back some day for sure. Going to miss the jeep!

Well, wheel proudly everyone! I'll post up a few pics this week of the jeep.

Don't get rid of it, for the money you are going to spend on a NEW CAR to save gas, screw it, just pump it into the jeep.

When i went to college I sold my Yukon Denali that was BEAUTIFUL for an older Audi A6 to "save" gas. Let me tell you, that damn gas saver cost me so much more money that if I were to just keep the gas guzzler.

Think real hard, I wish I could press rewind and go back to those days.

I agree, run the ol yj. I commute mine 100 miles a day, I used to commute my soa on 33s haha. I just can't bring myself to go from a jeep to a car. I regret selling my first yj all the time. As the new owner was driving it away I was about in tears haha.

I'm going for nursing or engineering. But. The jeeps tranny was grinding so I would've had to replace the tranny soon anyways.

Well since I refuse to have a regular car I went with a mustang gt. Yeah I'll get bashed on for it but oh well. I'll have another another jeep after college. My dad and I might actually buy another one while I'm in college and build it up.

Man, it's too bad about getting rid of the Jeep but going to college is the right choice. I go to USF for Mechanical Engineering. You may suffer without your jeep now, but when you graduate in either of those fields you will be able to buy whatever kind of jeep you want and build it however you want.

Have fun, chase girls, and study your @$$ off!!

It takes me 20 minutes to go to work everyday! Fill up every 3 to 4 days. Still worth it, would have not gotten anything else! Goodluck in school and hope you don't get rid of your rig, if you do, you can always get another one later.

Thanks everyone. The jeeps gone and I've had the mustang since Saturday. Miss the jeep...

I'll be back someday. No doubt about it. But on the upside, it was a girl who bought the jeep so we added another female to the community!
