shackels in two directions

i just installed a 2.5 rough country lift my rear shackels one is pointed like straight up and down the other is bent in some toward the front of the jeep. is this ok or should all of the shackels front and back be facing a certain direction?

The shackles should be going towards rear on the back of the Jeep. Did you tighten the shackle bolts to torque before the Jeep was back on the ground? If so, that may be your problem. Just loosen the shackle bolts up a bit with the weight of the Jeep on the wheels then re torque. If that does not work, make sure that the little tabs on the leaf springs popped into place for the axle. Good luck.

Glad to hear that they are now pointed the same way. I have the 4" lift and love it. Not sure if the 2.5 lift had the track bar relocation brackets or not, but if they are on there, you will still get a bit if a rough ride. I removed mine and the ride was a ton better.
