Short on Cash need bumpstops any ideas on how to make them?

Making bump stops have any ideas?

why do you want bumpstops on a yj?

2" tubing under original bumpstops in front. 2" tubing on spring plate in rear

screw that, i want all the flex there is. if you stop it at level arch youre losing a lot of flex.

granted i have to replace leaf springs every year if i wheel like i want to, but thats what the lifetime warranties are for. here's another set on the way sir.

ehh, i figure down travel is more useful than uptravel. and im running franken-hybrid leaf packs, so no free springs for me. itd take 10 junk yard trips to recreate these badboys

bump stops

I have seen all kinds of redneck enginering on these things from pieces of plywood to original stops welded to pieces of metal but i think the best on was a piece of metal welded to the spring and an old piece of tire glued to it
have fun but remember BE SAFE WITH THIS spend the money and buy a pair so no problems will happen

i prefer the old cut apart a tire trick, stack them 5 or 6 thick and bolt it into the holes with some big washers. the bolt holes are 5/16 i believe.
