Should i buy this for 4000?

It looks clean in all the pictures. Not a fan of the fenders but I'll have about 1500 to put a lift new tires and hopefully new fenders.

x3 on the frame, is it a 4 or 6 cyl, manual or auto. what year is it,
the fenders look painted body color, check for rust around where the seat belts bolt to the floor, if you go there take a magnet and check the frame around the rear shackles, power steering pump, aaand all over it,---i have seen where some spray foam the rust spots in the frame and put heavy coats of undercoating and paint to hide the bad spots,,..its a buyer beware market on these older jeeps..

Shows us the entire for sale add. Is 4000 a good deal for a YJ with a blown 2.5l motor? Is 4000 a good deal for a YJ with a 5.7l chevy?

It's the 4.0 auto from what I saw there was no rust but your saying just go along the frame with a magnet?

With the hard top and 6 cyl I'd say it's worth it if everything else checks out.

I scored my 1995 Sahara (4.0) on Craigslist for $4500. Everything stock, 67,000 original miles. The only thing was the frame was rusty, but solid. I live in Western New York so cars here see a lot of snow and salt. Now that I think of it, I practically stole it from the guy for that price.
