Small block TJ

I have just bought a 95 TJ with a 351 and 4sp. The front end does lock in if I run a vacume line to the front diff. actuator so I know it works. My question is what is available aftermarket with a switch to do this automatically. This is usually done by the factory transfercase but not its been replaced by a 4sp. Any suggestions will help me!! Thanks, Art

I would install a TJ axle shaft and get rid of this vacuum disconnect thing.

this works. it keeps the collar to the left thus creating a "solid" axle. use a spring or a piece of 3/8" garden hose.

Your 95 is a YJ mate. I'll second the TJ shaft and spring ideas. I did the spring install years ago and it is working great. I don't know about the garden hose though. I don't know if it will deteriorate over time being bathed in 90wt all the time. A garden hose wasn't designed to be used with gear oil, but who knows.
