There are different styles of tops with different styles of frames.

If you don't want to deal with all the hardware, consider a frameless like the Softopper. It comes with everything you need, assuming you have full steel doors.

So those doors will fit with a hardtop no need for the full doors?

Other way around. You can put hard doors on along with the supertop.

So, i have no experience with this, but i'm told that the supertop doors almost fit with a hard top, but that they rub and slowly destroy themselves over time.

Just something to think about.

The OE yj soft top has an upper door design that has a sharp upper corner it's based off the "world cab" design.

When you get into the super top your doors have the traditional domestic corners that are round. So if you use super top door uppers they will work with a hard top. And vise versa.

If you're in the market for a top the super top is a great option.

What was left of a best top super top was on my jeep when I bought it, I am now in the process of converting back to an OEM top, since I couldn't find any hardtops in my area. The frame for the upper door defiantly looks like it would fit a hardtop.
