Soft Top Under Snow Load?

I bought my Jeep this past April, and will be heading into my first Winter with it. It came with the soft top installed and a hard top on the side. I'd like to keep the soft top on all Winter, but I'm afraid of what a foot of snow on it might do. Anyone have experience with this?

I've had a couple of feet several times on mine. If I'm driving it, it blows off, if I not I just sweep it off. I've seen no ill effects from it.
