We have a '93, and are wanting to put a soft top on.
Thinking probably a bikini top, but know there are others out there.
What do ya'll like and why?
Also, what brands are worth it, and don't cost an arm and a leg?
Thanks!

I have a quadratec full soft top and a rampage half cab top. I'm very pleased with both brands. The quadratec top is $300 for everything minus the frame. No complaints with the quadratec top. I'm currently running the rampage half cab top, which I really like and is only about $250. It covers the cab and the rear of the jeep and looks like a bikini/tonno combo but you can still use your square top doors and seal up the cab if it rains. For me it is the ideal top since I don't have a back seat and I can take off the doors and it's like a bikini top. The only thing is it won't work with full hard doors or soft uppers with rounded corners. I would definitely recommend it though if it works for your configuration.

Bestop is the brand I would choose, they have been the OEM for jeep for a very long time... All have YKK zippers and are built pretty stout.

Replace a top for factory hardware
Super top for aftermarket hardware

You will need to chose from standard or sailcloth "thicker"

With all of these tops by removing the Windows you basically have a safari/bikini top.

At the moment they all have nice rebates and you can also get a forum discount from Morris 4x4 or Quadratec.

I have a softopper and love it. It's easy to remove the windows to make it into a safari top when I want, it's quiet on the highway, it works will full steel doors, they include everything you need when you purchase it(rails, channels, door surrounds, etc), and I believe they're the lowest priced top available. @mijeeper80 has one too and I think he has enjoyed it as well.
